Sometimes a walk is all you need β˜€οΈπŸŒˆ

If you’re anything like me, I absolutely love the outdoors – Dont get me wrong, I love getting my duvet and moving from my bed to the sofa, putting on some rubbish gossip TV and forgetting what life outside is like!

Being outdoors is something I truly enjoy; the fresh air, the space and the endless ideas that pop into my head of what to do and where to go. Obviously being outdoors in an open space, somewhere less chaotic, is where I totally feel free – it’s cheesy but it’s amazing how even a half hour walk can clear your mind, make you feel positive and help you gain a little perspective in life.

I am far too familiar with that feeling of being anxious and stressed – it’s literally comes out of nowhere, kicks you in the stomach and fucks up your mind. What is that?! I’m aware there is still such a stigma and disconnect of people that can’t understand this feeling and the whole judgement of ‘I’m sure it’s not that bad’. The ignorance of some people makes me so angry but if you’re lucky enough to find even one person that can relate to this, that understands that feeling, don’t be afraid to speak up or ask for some advice from them. Making the first move is daunting and a massive step but trust me letting people in and communicating is so worth the end outcome and the feeling it gives you afterwards. Trust me I felt embarrassed and silly even admitting that this is how I was feeling but you’ll be shocked that more people than you know are dealing with this everyday.

I love noticing that more and more people are speaking up and communicating over these subjects, making it more of a common subject that taboo.

My inbox is always open if you don’t feel comfortable talking to those closest to you or personally feel you don’t have anyone to talk to ❀️

This is so true. Sometimes a walk is all you need. I love going for evening walks when the weather is nice and the sun is just going down. I think they are so good for clearing your head and just having some time to yourself. I wish I had more time to go for walks. Sometimes I get stressed and anxious to, going for walks I find is really good for that as it takes you away from the situation and a bit of fresh air is always good! Good post!

These photos are so amazing! But you are so right! Whenever I need a moment to myself to either think through things or distress, a walk is what I always do first! πŸ™‚

Getting outdoors is so super important. It can do you the world of good even if it’s just to take a break from your normal environment for 30 minutes or so! I usually get outside at the weekend and it gives me space to relax and get perspective on what’s been going on during the week πŸ˜Šβ€‹
